For over 50 years, Mike’s Auto Body has worked tirelessly to bring the best possible repair experience we can to our our customers. This is why we have partnered with CCC Intelligent Solutions’ CarWise estimating platform to bring virtual estimating to our customers and facilities. This technology is an alternative to bringing your vehicle in for an estimate and then coming back at a later time to drop vehicle for repairs. By clicking the link below on your preferred Mike’s Auto Body location, you will start the repair process by entering the text number of your smart phone. CarWise will text you a link to start the estimating process. A guide to that process is here:
Virtual Estimate Guide
Thank you for choosing Mike’s Auto Body to repair your vehicle. The following is a guide to help you navigate through the process of a virtual estimate and to help answer some common questions.
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
In order for us to compose an accurate estimate, we need the VIN to decode within our estimating system. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) provides build sheets of each vehicle to our estimating software company. We will decode the VIN to ensure we are using the proper parts, repair procedures, and methods.

Guide to Images
Please keep in my mind our estimator will be reviewing these images on their computer screen to complete your estimate. Clear images are needed to accurately assess the damage to your vehicle.
- You will need at least 7 Feet from where you stand for each corner. Insurance companies do require when taking corner images that it includes the entire front and side or back and side. Examples provided below.
- All 4 corners are needed to help our estimator (and your insurance company) determine how to best repair the vehicle as well as how to properly blend into adjacent panels when restoring the paint to the vehicle.
Left Front Right Front Right Rear Left Rear - Damage Photos – Our estimator needs up close images of the damage to properly estimate and see the amount of damage done. They also need an image of the damage standing back at least 5 feet to identify the size of the damage and if damage is overlapping into an adjacent panel.
Additional Comments
It is the job of our estimator to determine the extent of the damage. Any additional information you can provide on how the damage occurred helps our estimator understand the extent of the damage. Please provide any additional comments about the damage when completing the image portion of the virtual estimate.
Text or Email
We need a phone number or an email address to communicate with you. Our virtual estimator will contact you should additional images be needed or if there are any additional comments. We will also need this to communicate the estimate back to you. For questions regarding your estimate, please email estimates@mikesautobody.com. Include the name you used when completing the virtual estimate and the year, make, model of your vehicle.
Disclaimer
Your preliminary online estimate request will be reviewed by an experienced estimator. There might be times the estimator will have additional questions or need additional images. The estimator will text or email if you more information is needed. Once the estimator completes the estimate, you will receive a copy of the estimate with an estimated cost to repair the damage visible in photographs; but often times, there is unforeseeable, unnoticed, or hidden damage which does not come to light until a vehicle is seen in person. Occasionally, there is hidden damage which is not discovered until other damaged parts are removed. For these reasons, any estimate or quote is a preliminary estimate only, and not a contract to repair your vehicle for the estimated price. A final estimate will be provided when you bring your vehicle in to our repair center for personal inspection by our professional estimators. You will be notified if any additional hidden damage is found when your vehicle is in the repair process. This service is provided only as a helpful guide in the repair of your vehicle, and is not an offer to repair the vehicle for the estimated cost.
Our virtual estimators work Monday through Friday between 8am to 4pm. An estimate will typically be sent out to you within 1 business days ; but, understand, especially during the rainy season, we may have high volume of estimates which may delay getting to your estimate.
To start our virtual estimate process, please click your preferred location to receive a text link to your smart phone. Click the link when received to start the virtual estimate process with Mike’s Auto Body.
