Brianna and team at Mike’s in Concord were amazing. Highlights:
-communication is 2nd to any business I’ve ever worked w/, timely, accurate and incredible responsive….never waited more than 30 mins for an email response, which is amazing w/ 5 or so unique messages I sent
-so kind, the woman who called and booked my estimate made a mistake that the WC location wasn’t open on Saturday (which I needed) and you would have thought she kicked my dog:) so apologetic and empathetic, top-tier customer service
-Brianna was so nice and accommodating. My repair should have taken 7-10 business days and she got it done in 3, no kidding. I really needed my car for the weekend and she came through. The estimate was exactly the cost, she did some touch-up work instead of the full on repair I was due, which saved me $392 and it looks great!
I can’t say enough about their service, relationship management, quality of work, and convenience. Don’t even think of going to another shop, I know I never will, thx Brianna and Mike’s!!!

Honestly there are sometimes that 5 stars aren’t enough to convey the absolute perfection in customer service, communication, quality and timeliness. THIS is one of those times. The ENTIRE team at Mikes has YOUR back. They are kind, concise, honest, up front and deliver with superior quality. I simply cannot even put into words how relieving and what a pleasure it was to deal with Mikes humans. They are very well trained and will make you happy you chose them. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my auto repair needs. I don’t even live that close to Mikes and I still knew it was the right choice to go there. I imagine it must be a tough job working at a company like Mike’s Auto Body. Specializing in estimates and repairs to cars post-accident, you’re the automotive Grim Reaper. You’re likely dealing with very unhappy people, either hurting from getting smashed up in an accident or feeling like a bucket o’ crap for perhaps causing the accident. Some folks get good news – yes your 4-wheeled baby is down but it isn’t out! Other times, they’re the doctor walking down the hall to tell the family that the patient didn’t make it. Even though these incidents put money in this local business’ pocket, they are not in an enviable position.
Vince Pita was unfortunately my car’s Grim Reaper. After a rear collision that left my Saturn Ion’s tush all banged up and miserable, I took my busted baby to Mike Rose’s based on their reputation both as a local business and from great word of mouth from friends when they had been in accidents in the past. Vince was very kind and gracious as he looked over my car when I brought it in for its estimate, taking photos and answering a few questions. He’s clearly very knowledgeable, passing on some info as to how Saturns in particular react to damage. Their front desk people were also very gracious and helped me acquire my rental car without a hitch.
Two days later, Vince called to pass on the news of my car’s estimate. He laid out the amount, and upon my request broke down all the elements of the car that would need repair and replacement to clarify his numbers. While I ultimately knew these were unhappy tidings as shortly later my beloved car was declared a total loss, it felt good to receive the information from a company and employee I trusted.
I of course do not wish this situation on anyone but if the day comes that your car needs a onceover, this Mike Rose location right off the freeway in Walnut Creek is an ideal choice. Wonderfully knowledgeable and kind employees. They do their jobs well and compassionately, and inspire true trust.

Came here to get some dents looked at (door dings specifically). Great staff, super friendly and reasonably priced. Trusted them pretty quickly and didn’t get the feeling we were simply a pay check to them!
O.k. So in early March I brought my wife’s Jetta in for about $3K worth of body damage repair. My first time here. I yelped them and gave them five stars. Part of the repair included removal and re-install of rear passenger door handle. So here we are six weeks later and there is a problem with the same door lock not operating. So I grab my previous work order and proceed to Mike’s hoping the door lock repair would be covered at least partially because of the previous door work. A new estimator, Carlos, came out looked at the door, saw the previous work order and had the door fixed on the spot. The correction included taking out the interior door panel as the door could not be opened from the interior or exterior. No excuses, no telling me to come back next week, no telling me the original work which was done about six weeks prior (which may or may not have been the current cause) was out of warranty; the I only thing I heard was “no problem”. These guys are awesome!, thank you. I told Michelle, the receptionist, “you guys are great but I hope I never see you again”. She replied, “We get that a lot!”
I brought my car to Mike Rose after someone hit my car in a parking lot. My car already had damage in that area from a previous accident that I had not fixed. Damon was assigned to do the assessment of the damage. He was kind and patient with me even though my car was old a had previous damage. He provided a thorough estimate and broke down repair costs for most recent accident and costs to repair previous damage. When I decided not to fix the car, he re-attached my bumper at no charge and sent me on my way. Damon went out of his way to help me and for that I am grateful. He answered all of my questions and always treated me with respect and patience. It is rare to see this level of customer service.
As luck would have it, in 2010 I had bought a brand new car and weeks later hit a pedestrian crossing a parking lot exit. I had brought my car to this location to have it repaired. Well, 3 years later, the clear coat on the hood was starting to chip. Mike’s has a lifetime warranty on paint. So I called to have the hood fixed. Without batting an eye the manager set up an appointment time and even made sure I had a ride home and a ride back to the shop. I cannot give enough stars for the customer service!
