Q: What are some of the changes you’ve seen in this industry over the years and how has Mike’s Auto Body reacted to these?
A: Scanning vehicles- an aspect that has been slightly ignored by the industry. The attempt to give customers vehicles back in the condition they received them on the “insides” (clear computer codes related to the loss or to working on the vehicle). S.O.P. of Mike’s Auto Body to have OEM dealerships match aftermarket prices to ensure the best quality to be given to customers. Vehicles have become increasingly more challenging to work on re: more computers, and sensors. Mike’s is working on constant education (I-CAR), and working with different vendors to repair vehicles using the collision repair’s best practices.
