A: I like taking a customer that is upset and lost on how to deal with their loss on an object that means a lot to many of us Californians. I like to help them through the process and most importantly be happy with the outcome.
Q: What are some of the changes you’ve seen in this industry over the years and how has Mike’s Auto Body reacted to these?
A: There have been some very big changes in the automotive industry in the last 29 years since I entered the industry. Airbags, hybrids, electric, telematics, scanning, aluminum, Direct Repair Programs, basecoat/clearcoat, and then waterborne. Mike’s Auto Body has been a juggernaut of East Bay autobody repair in the period I have been in the business. They have been a front runner in every point I mentioned above. Most impressively their command of the DRP process. At the Lafayette location we do the Ford Aluminum trucks and that has been very interesting to gain knowledge in.
