Mike’s Auto Body is happy to announce we now have three locations that are certified members of the Honda/Acura ProFirst program. Our Antioch location has been joined by our San Ramon and Concord (VDM) shops, in order to better serve Honda and Acura owners throughout the East Bay.
It’s a nationally-acclaimed program designed by Honda Motor Company to promote the country’s top shops with the proper certifications and training to perform repairs that are precise, complete, and safe on Honda/Acura vehicles and demonstrate a full commitment to a high level of both customer care and satisfaction.
In an age when OEM certifications are essential more than before, body shops all over the country are clamoring to join OE programs that can elevate their status and help them to produce best-in-class collision repairs.
If you want to see what’s currently going on in the collision industry, you should first look at shops like Mike’s who are not afraid to embrace things like best practices, cutting-edge tools and factory certifications.
Mike’s Director of Marketing Dane Dearlove recently discussed the value of OE certifications, including the Honda/Acura ProFirst program. “The ProFirst certification is yet another ideal opportunity for Mike’s Auto Body to validate and reinforce our focus on superior repair quality,” Dearlove said. “We have seen genuine value in that validation for both our customers and carrier partners. Overall, seeking and obtaining certifications, such as Honda ProFirst, falls directly in line with our pursuit to operate a best-in-class company across the board. ”
To attain a Honda ProFirst certification, every repair facility has to meet a set of stringent requirements and have the ability to fix Hondas and Acuras right each and every time.
Joe Drago, Mike’s Manager in San Ramon is pleased with this prestigious certification for several reasons. “More and more of our customers want shops that have factory certifications, so the Honda/Acura ProFirst certification is significant for us in San Ramon and throughout the entire company,” Drago said. “We have two technicians and an estimator here who are I-CAR and factory-trained about how to work on Hondas and Acuras. We have all of the tools and equipment to excel and have the skillset to fix these vehicles to OE standards, so we can’t wait to see all of the Hondas and Acuras in here for repairs.”
To retain the three certifications, Mike’s in San Ramon, Concord (VDM) and Antioch must maintain its I-CAR Gold Class shop with a minimum of one repair technician who has completed the Honda/Acura training, known as HON01 Collision Repair for Honda and Acura Vehicles and presently employed at the shop.
Honda/Acura is a great manufacturer to be associated with and that’s why Mike’s Auto Body is happy to have three shops as certified members of their nationally acclaimed ProFirst program.
